The DEK Trio consists of two Austrian musicians - the pianist and composer Elisabeth Harnik and the drummer Didi Kern, as well as the American saxophonist Ken Vandermark (USA). As a trio they perform their fantastic music on the border of free improvisation, free jazz and post pank. DOM was founded in 1999 by Nikolaj Dmitriev (1955-2004) and over the years has become an important center for experimental and modern music. Among the many musicians who performed here are great names like Peter Brötzmann, Anthony Braxston, Fred Frith, Chris Cutler, Matz Gustafson, Ken Vandermark, William Parker, Hamid Drake, Keith Rowe, Marc Ribot, Han Bennink, Misha Mengelberg.
