Vienna is dedicated from 24 - 27 September 2015 to the international art fair viennacontemporary. Around 100 galleries and 1,000 artists offer a fascinating insight into the diverse art scenes. The viennacontemporary 2015 with a focus on galleries from Eastern Europe, the strong presence of the Viennese gallery scene and a dense content intergenerational social program in the Marx Hall is highlight in the international trade fair calendar.
For example, under the motto Focus Bulgaria, viennacontemporary 2015 broadened its focus on the country Bulgaria and shows a representative selection of Bulgarian contemporary art from private collections and major galleries in Bulgaria.
With "Keys to Contemporary Art", viennacontemporary aims to bring renowned representatives of the
contemporary art scene to Vienna, thereby conveying to interested visitors some insights into the practices of contemporary art.
Different generations – young Austrian artists and seniors – will meet for discussions and an exchange of views on contemporary art in the framework of the VIENNA Gold.
With the new presentation format REFLECTIONS viennacontemporary emphasizes the curatorial aspect of gallery work and provides the participating galleries a special presentation area for specially designed for art fair exhibitions.
As part of the Zone1 viennacontemporary enables galleries to present young artists in individual presentations at special conditions. Previously limited to galleries from Austria, ZONE1 is starting this year also galleries available.
Guided tours and join-in program will be held for all ages daily.
