On the 4th of October the 4th Curatorial battle will take place as part of the general program of the 6th Moscow Biennale of contemporary art. This will be the final stage of the competition of the EUNIC-program (European Union National Institutes for Culture) for young curators. In the official part the five finalists will present their projects, for which they were working during their internship in 2015.
This year the competition, dedicated to the memorials, is associated with the reflection of historical memory in contemporary art and considers the saving of heritage of art as starting point. After the voting of the Judges the winner, whose project is voted as the best one, will receive an EUNIC-scholarship for EUR 3.000 for realizing the project.
To the presentation of those projects we invite both experts, such as art workers, critics, artists and academics, and also young curators, art students and everyone who is interested in contemporary art.
With that Battle of the Curators the EUNIC-Internship-program 2014-2015 will end and a new competition season we be started. The presentation of the projects is the perfect possibility to get all the information about the EUNIC-program and to ask the former winners, today young Russian curators who had internships at the most popular galleries in Europe, several questions.
