On 1 April 2016 a concert of the Austrian - Israeli violinist Yair Kless takes place in the Small Hall of the Moscow Conservatory together with the musicians of the Rachmaninov Trio within the scope of philharmonic subscription “Rachmaninov Trio and guests”.
The concert of Yair Kless is dedicated to the music of Vienna classics.
Yair Kless is a representative of the Belgian violin school that began with such great musicians as Ysaÿe and Vieuxtemps. His performing style is marked by the lightness of bow and a beautiful flying sound; these are exactly the qualities which are ideal for performing Vienna classics.
Equally important is the fact that Yair Kless is indissociably connected with Vienna and Austrian culture because he has been living and teaching in Austria for many years.
The Moscow Rachmaninov Trio was established by the graduates of the Moscow State Conservatory P.I. Tchaikovsky, participants and winners of various international competitions. In its 20 years of existence the ensemble has won the recognition of critics and affection of the public. Nowadays the Rachmaninov Trio regularly gives concerts in the best concert halls at home and abroad.
