RESIDENCY IN EUROPE FOR RUSSIAN CURATORS
We are happy to announce the open-call for the 6th edition of Curatorial Exchange 2018.
The aim of the program is to help young Russian curators acquire experience, share knowledge and create networks whilst working in leading European cultural institutions. For the past five years Russian curators have had experience of working with some of the most interesting and active European art. After the internships, curators develop their own independent curatorial projects, which are to be presented at the final event. The best project will be implemented with financial support from EUNIC (3000 EURO).
To apply you need:
– to be a Russian citizen
– to be 23 to 35 y.o.
– to have a certificate of higher education in the humanities
– a minimum 2 years of experience in curatorial practice
– good communication skills of English or the language of a hosting country
Russian curators can apply for an internship that will happen between the 1st of July and the 15th of October in Ars Electronica in Austria, Design Museum in Finland, Le Chateau d’Oiron in France, Lenbachhaus in Germany, RUPERT art center in Lithuania, Witte de With in Netherlands, Tensta Konsthall in Sweden. 7 internships in total.
Hosting institutions cover:
– accommodation costs
– travel costs
– per diem
– visa support
