Multimedia installation by Yuri Palmin shows that the reconstruction program for the district cinemas, which in fact was their reorganization into typical shopping malls is an announcement of the death of the memory of the city, similar to the death of the artist-mnemonics, who carried a military secret which was incomprehensible to him, yet important for world peace, through the entirety of Hitchcock’s film "Thirty Nine Steps."
