The exhibition „Speak, Memory“ will take place at country house and museum in Roshdestveno. „Speak, Memory“ refers to the title of the autobiographical novel by Vladimir Nabokov, the last owner of the country house. The novel was inspired by feelings of love and suffering of the great writer, who lost his native country. Visitors will be fascinated by charming atmosphere of old country mansion and delighted to see colourful paintings that evoke speaking memories now confined to history.
Nina Werzhbinskaja-Rabinowich was born in Leningrad (St. Petersburg). After the school of art, she studied at Leningrad Muchina Academy for Applied Arts (1965-1970).
1977 she emigrated to Vienna and from then on she lives and works there as a freelance artist.

Exhibition will be open for visitors from 1st till 30th July 2014
From 6 th July 2014 till 10 th July 2014 Nina Verzhbinskaya-Rabinovich will give a master class “The Old Park”, aquarelle painting. The master class will take place from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. Attendance is free of charge.
