XXI. MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL “JAZZ IN EREMITAGE GARDEN”

On August 18th and 19th the XXI. Festival, "Jazz in the Hermitage Garden" took place in Moscow. In the last two decades the festival developed from a purely urban event to one of the biggest open-air jazz festivals, which meanwhile is known not only in Russia but also internationally. Over the years the most famous jazz musicians of the Russian Federation as well as many international stars of this genre participated. Organizers of the festival are the company "Jazz Fest" with support of the Moscow Ministry of Culture and the Management of the "Hermitage Garden". On the XXI. Festival 10 Russian and foreign bands among other stars from Israel, Poland and the USA took part. Traditionally the Austrian Cultural Forum, supported from the Raiffeisenbank Russia, organizes an Austrian Band. In 2018 was it the Mojo Blues Band (Erik Trauner, Siggi Fassl, Charlie Furthner, Herfried Knapp and Didi Mattersberger).
