About workshop:
Music producer and DJ Masha Dabelka travels with the workshop audience through the history of music, talks about the basic physical conditions of instruments and playback devices and offers an introduction to music media.

About teacher:
Name: Mariya Aleynikova aka Masha Dabelka
Education: M.A. (Academy of Fine Arts Vienna)
Occupation: pedagogue, DJ, producer, sound designer
Masha began early musical education at the age of four at the Novosibirsk Music School. After numerous cultural activities in Russia, she continued her professional and student path in Vienna, Austria, in 2008. There she produces electronic music from ambient to techno, experimental and drone - for film music, sound installations and other art projects. In 2017 she released the first solo album on vinyl. In addition to her artistic work, she gives workshops in the field of electronic music for schoolchildren and students. Between 2009 and 2015 Masha Dabelka worked as an assistant in the academy's recording studio, where she got to know the latest technology in music production. She is currently employed as a lecturer at the MUK (Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna).
